EDWARD ALLSOPP

GENERAL MANAGER

After leaving music college Edward worked in various bars before joining Browns restaurants where he worked his way up to manager and spent 5 years in various London locations.

Edward joined La Trompette in 2006 where he met Joby and was part of the management team when they received their Michelin star. He worked on building a freindly and efficient front of house team that delivered a relaxed and smooth service.

After leaving he went on to open new branches for Le Pain Quotidien in the City and Borough Market and ran their flagship restaurant in St Pancras.

Edward has always enjoyed food and has a passion for wine; restaurants are an amazing place to work with similar minded people and talk to the guests about food and wine.

Away from work Edward enjoys spending most of his time with his wife and two daughters.
