Every month we give away a bottle of Louis Barthelemy Champagne to one lucky winner and all you have to do to enter the competition is to sign up to receive our newsletters by email, so if you would like to enter just send an email to reservations@albertstable.co.uk with the subject line of "Champagne Competition" and we will enter your name into the draw for that month. Only one entry per person will be accepted, you must be over 18 to enter and any prizes must be collected from Albert's Table.

October 2009

Following the success of our last 2 Wine and Food Tasting evenings where we explored some delicious wines from the Loire valley and then Bordeaux, we are planning to hold our next tasting evening in the New Year. If you would like to receive more information about this or anything else happening at Albert’s Table, please sign up to receive our newsletters.

Christmas at Albert’s Table is looking very busy already, so if you are planning on joining us for lunch or dinner over the festive period please get in touch soon to make your reservations.

We are also pleased to introduce our online booking system which will enable you to book tables and receive confirmations quickly online which we hope you will find useful.

August 2009

Happy Birthday to us!! We are very pleased to have survived what the economy had to throw at us to make it to our first birthday! To celebrate the event we were joined by the Mayor of Croydon Councillor Margaret Mead, along with some of our most loyal lunch time customers who have dined with us week in week out during our first year. We would like to say an enormous heart-felt thank you to all of these people, and to the many others who have been so supportive and welcoming to us since our arrival in Croydon last July.

April 2009

We have announced the date of our next Food & Wine tasting evening and places are going fast already! It's going to take place at the restaurant on the 20th of May. The price is £55 per person which includes a 4 course dinner, 6 glasses of wine and coffee. Any other drinks are additional. The menu will demonstrate the best of the new seasons produce, with wines carefully selected to compliment each dish. To secure your place, full payment is needed in advance, or if you would like more information about the menu please email reservations@albertstable.co.uk.

January 2009

In January we held our second wine tasting evening and were delighted to be joined by a special guest: Dr Norbert Reinisch. Dr Reinisch is married to Raffaella Bologna who is a winemaker for Giacomo Bologna of the "Braida Estate" famous for Barbera D'Asti. He hosted a fantastic evening, guiding us through some of the best red, white and dessert wines from the Braida vineyards with a perfect balance of information and anecdotes!

July 2008

We opened our doors to the public officially on Tuesday 29th July and have had lots of support from local people and businesses so far and hope to be seeing many more over the next few weeks.

We would especially like to thank Truelove Shopfitters, Cranes Catering and Maurice Hyde Flowers.
