JobyAlbert’s Table is owned and run by Joby Wells.

Joby has spent most of his career working at a senior level in some of London’s most prestigious Michelin starred restaurants, and in 2008 turned his expertise into a successful local restaurant in South Croydon, which serves some of the finest and freshest dishes in the area and surrounds.

“Despite graduating with a degree in engineering, I knew it was not what I wanted to do with my life. I have always loved eating, and my parents used to breed the odd pig or goat for the table.  I was lucky enough to gain a real knowledge and passion for what fresh seasonal produce really is.

For me good food is all about the ingredients, and I don’t mean the truffles and the foie gras.  If you spend a little time and effort getting good quality meat, fish and vegetables, then even the lowliest ingredients have the potential to produce a great dish at a sensible budget.”
